Hello to everyone..Can I ask anyone who is working with MOH saudi Arabia? Can I ask if they are offering a 1 year contract? Can you give me also an idea regarding their exam? Thank you in advance. Godbless!

Is the salary increase only for MOH or for HOP as well?

Is it only for nurses or is it also for other health professionals? I was wondering if it is applicable for us because we are also nurses but we applied as paramedics.

Being in MOH is like a game of luck. You dont know what hospital/dispensary you will be working with until you arrive in the Kingdom. Rumor has it that MOH provides higher salary than HOP but its a case to case basis I think cause in our hospital, we have the same salary and benefits. Im under HOP. The only difference is the number of vacation days wherein HOP has only 30 days and MOH has 45 days. Others prefer to be in HOP because the processing of papers is quick as well as booking of tickets in going back home. So, its basically the same. :-)

Where are you in KSA? do you know something about Al-Qassim and the possible areas where I will be assigned in that region? When were you deployed and from what batch of delegation... I used to work with someone who was assigned in Al-Quassim once. Didnt say much about that place... what she just said is that they are quite strict there, you will need to cover you face too (wear a burka).

I was with HOP once. MOH nurses I believe has more benefits than HOP nurses in terms of salary and length of vacation, however, they dont have the luxury of choosing the hospital where they will work unlike those with the HOP. As much as I dont want to go back to KSA, I have no choice. Its hard to find employment in other, far more better, countries where you can earn more and enjoy your youth and freedom.

My friend who's final evaluation was on the first week of August this year will be leaving today for KSA.

thank you for your reply mean...:) I feel sad today because I did't receive a text from SRO regarding my flight schedule...yesterday was my 3rd week after my final evaluation...:mad: I think I just expected too much....expecting that I will also be informed soon just like your friend...hayz.... Now, I'll just have to enjoy my remaining days with my loved ones here in the Philippines... God Bless you...:nurse:

Dont be sad! you will be crying river of tears on the day of your flight! and especially when you see the first desert sunrise of KSA lol trust me... it wasnt the best feeling for me.

Just wait patiently and enjoy your time with family. God bless you too! Oh by the way do you have any idea when the next delegation is?

HI, I submitted mine just yesterday. I want to ask you guys. I've read the thread from first to last but can't seem to find the answer to my question.

What happens on the actual evaluation and interview. Will the interviewer ask the applicant his/her prefered place in KSA and hospital? THere's this hospital in Riyadh that I really want to work. I only read post about applicants know their assigned place upon the job offer and no one said that there were choices or something.. Hope you guys can share something about this.. Thank you..

hello, about your question, YEs there are applicants who have the required yrs of hospital experience, im one of them...i stopped working as a staff nurse just to apply at SRO Makati,,,but i submitted my credentials at Cebu Poea last Sept.3, they said they will be the one to forward it to Poea Manila but still i have to ff.up my papers to be sure it's really there in the main POea office...i heard SRO delegation will be here usually after Ramadan (dont have the exact date) maybe this october....do you have infos about when will be the next delegation?...hope to hear it from you and also those who have infos pls share to your fellow nurses....tnx a lot guys

yup, im one of them. i stopped working as a staff nurse to find opportunity in bigger hosp. and heard that SRO delegation hire nurses with 2yrs hosp.experience....i submitted my credentials last sept.3 at Cebu Poea and they said they will be the one to forward it to the main Poea office but still i have to ff.up my papers just to be sure its there at the main office.
