Hi joyweib. They still accept applications at poea. I just passed mine last Monday. Just a tip before you pass the required documents, make sure you already have your poea registration number. ? Indeed, may God bless us all.

What is POEA? Is it a company (like a recruiting company)? If so, how can I get there?

POEA means Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.they give licenses to recruitment agencies, etc..check their site www.poea.gov.ph for more info. If you want to submit for the Saudi Recruitment Office-Ministry of Health, just go to Window M, left wing of the building, you can see it once you enter POEA, it is located at Ortigas near Robinson's Galleria. POEA stands for Philippine Overseas Employment Administration. It's a government agency that regulates recruitment agencies that hire Filipino workers. They also assist Filipinos working abroad and those wanting to work abroad.

Can non-Phillipino nurses who happen to be in the Phillpines find some jobs in Saudi at POEA? Or does POEA accept Filipino nationals only?

Hi somebody from POEA texted me and the message was. This is not a word per word, I'll just revise it, it says there that for all applicants for Saudi, go to POEA, ground floor, left wing at window m on Feb. 4, 2009 and bring the original copy and photocopy of the following: resume with detailed job description and photos(whole body and 2x2), NBI, certificate of employment (if any), PRC id, diploma. Otr, I forgot the others, just bring all the necessary documents, maybe your trainings also or seminars, board rating and certificate etc. That's all. Anybody from Olongapo here? So that we can go together maybe. Thanks

I read from the previous threads that going straight to the embassy is more convenient and fast than in POEA in terms of processing or interview stuff. Is it true???

If that's so, I'm one of the backlogs papers at the window m... When will I be interviewed then???
