Just wanted to start a thread for the Fall 2011 SJC applicants to the ADN Program. I am eagerly awaiting the application period. Have any of you applied to other schools nearby?

Do anyone know how soon we will start our clinicals? And do we have to pay for a drug screening and background check again for each of the hospitals we will be doing clinicals at? Trying to calculate how much money I'm going to be spending. But I guess in the end, all the money we spent, will come back to us! Thanks

we wont start clinicals until after our first 8 weeks of classes and no, we shouldnt have to get a background and drug screening for each hospital...san jac will take care of all of that btwn them and the hospital

Just wondering about the photo we need to submit...Did you guys get a passport photo at walgreens and turn it in, and would that be acceptable?

I already turned in all of my paperwork, and I just turned in a regular photo of my self that we had printed out at Walgreens. They were not very picky at all. Good luck on your checklists hope everyone is close to finishing them :)

Hi! I'm new here. I was accepted to the fall nursing program also(high five). I was wondering if you could share some of the info I missed like the location of the cheap cpr classes. Thanks.

Just so everyone knows...people are being able to register for classes. Be careful doing so as we all signed a form stating we knew we were restricted from registering for any RSNG class until we were given our schedule at orientation!!!! Sure would suck to be kicked out or put on probation for not following directions.

So you've heard for sure that at orientation we will get our schedules? Nursing program hasn't given me a direct yes or no.

Yes they will give them out at orientation. It tells you that in the papers we signed with our application.

Does anyone know exactly what fees will be due at orientation this week?

So do they just give us a schedule or do get to pick the times that would work better for us? Just curious, I thought that once you were cleared and your major changed to nursing then you were able to register. Just curious

They will give you a specific schedule with the CRNs to register with. I was hoping to be able to pick my classes, but oh well. Glad to have been accepted and ready for orientation!!
