Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?

Lets talk about it here

My fax machine disconnected me from MNL so I'm waiting for Dr. **** to reset MNL for ch 7. I just completed the pretest for Ch 8 and missed the question about the safety issue for the nurse. It doesn't state the answer in the book and the stupid rationale just repeated what the book said. I heard ch 9 is the tough. I prefer to read the ch while I'm doing the pretest since it isn't timed.

Fax machines can be evil like that.

I may try doing my MNL like that, reading the book while doing the pretest. Can't be any worse than what I'm doing now.

Ch 15 in math for meds is puzzling. Let me know when you get to that chapter. And don't forget ch 25 for Health Assessment. Do we still meet in class eventhough it says Practice lab? Oh yeah, we're suppose to be there at 11:30 am to do our "walk -through."

I'll probably start the math tonight, so if I have a clue (and I usually don't) I'll let you know. Thank goodness ch. 8 for Foundations was so short. 7 made me want to pull my hair out, so extremely uninteresting.

Yay for 2 week old remediation!

Do we meet at 11 or 11:30 am?

1100-1130. That's what the blue schedule of doom says.

I love Mr. ****'s powerpoint lecture that is on BB. It makes it so much easier to understand!

Melissa,

Chapter 15 is nuts! I finished but it was a very slow process!

You guys are making me dread doing my math x_x Chapter 8 for foundations was nice and easy. Made more sense than ch. 7 at least : D

Also, someone needs to e-mail one of the instructors and demand they put up the blueprint. I'd do it but my e-mail is still being worked on.

We still meet in class...

Yes chapter 15 for math is scary!

maybe he will stay after class with us again and go over it.

Im so glad skills check off is over!!!

This next test has me a bit nervous!

How did yall study for the last test?

I already emailed Dr. **** and he said that Ms. ****** will post the blueprint on Monday. Dr. **** said he would stay after class on Tues to help us with the math. So far I've had to skip 3 of the problems because I couldn't figure out the answers.

Barbara, I'll post my math puzzlers tomorrow since I'm through for today.

I made the stupid mistake of trusting his notes. This time I'm trying to find a situation that will illustrate each concept. Of course it helps to still know the definition of each idea. But I'm also making sure that I make note cards on the concepts that he emphasized in each chapter. I'm trying to complete all the assignments by Monday so I can devote next week to studying for the test. I wasted too much time on the article assignment when I should have been combing through the chapters.

He LIED! He said they'd put it up today. I'm so heartbroken now. . .

Hey Ashley. I wouldn't worry too much about the next exam until we see the blueprint. If it's 55 questions again, then some chapters are only going to have 1 or 2 things pulled from it--like 7,8, and 9.

As for studying. . .yeah I'm not at all qualified to answer that. My study habits are awkward and I think really would only befit me since I'm slightly crazy. Or totally crazy if you ask Dr. **** : p
