San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2009

Published

Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?

Lets talk about it here

ughhh. i was so nervous before coming to class today, then when i got there, it was soooo boring the first 3/4 of the class! and we didn't review for that long over chapters 1-4

:(

did you guys?

i feel like i need to study more over those chapters.

and i am not returning my APA book. too much trouble.

i'll stick with the one i got!

I almost fell asleep this afternoon. I wish there was a drink that looks like water but is caffeinated because adults only have an attention span of 20 mins and most people are allowed to at least drink coffee in meetings.

At least she provides chapter outlines so we have some idea of what info will be covered on the test. Our class also went to 3:15 pm so you morning people were lucky.

Now to wake up at 5 am tomorrow....

why do you have to wake up at five!?? jiminy crickets!

5? Yeouch. I'm getting up at 6, so I don't feel as bad.

At least we filled out our scantrons right the first time though : D

and yes i agree on the coffee...caffeinated drinks..i wish we could drink something other than water.. :( that's ridiculous! maybe if we bring like a bottle where they can't see whats IN the bottle..yes..great idea. lol

I'm such a nerd, I looked it up and there is such a thing as caffeinated water. Crazy, but pricey. I was zoning out so much this morning, and they didn't make it sound as scary as they did in orientation.

how much is caffeinated water??!

never heard of it.

They'll stick caffeine in anything nowadays!

I agree though. This is about what I imagined. It's like taking a regular class, imagine that! But seriously, they won't overwhelm because, as Miss ********* said, most people have not had the medical experience to handle being thrown a medical dictionary and told to know it all in 8 weeks. That's crazy.

All I know right now, is, I want my scrubs. Desperately.

Hey everybody!

Lol, Poor Russell wants his scrubs. Me too:)

Knew you'd come back eventually. Especially since I totally talked to you earlier!

I do want my scrubs though. I'd kill a rock to have them right now.

Kill a rock....

Now is that possible. Lol

I have to get up at 5 am because my puppy needs some attention and exercise before he's locked up for 4-5 hrs. I practiced getting up at 6 am last week so today wasn't so bad afterall.

And I'm not judging the difficulty level until we get the test. I do love the workbook exercises since it maybe gives us an idea of what to expect on the test. We'll see next Monday.

Now for Foundations...
