San Antonio Methodist Residency Feb 2015

Hello all ! I am looking into applying for the SA methodist residency program starting feb 2015. Has anyone been through the process and have any tips or suggestions for me? I am considering in applying for PICU and NICU. Does it look wishy washy if I apply to two positions or is it normal? I actually live in California but am looking to move to Texas first week of January.

Hi KAT, I don't think it's wushu-washy to apply for more than one residency. They have a Meet & Greet scheduled 1/9/15 and it's an opportunity to talk to the managers and ask questions. I would make sure you attend the M&G, because from there they schedule the next round of interviews.

I worked in NICU when the residency group came through and it's an excellent program! Good luck!!

Can you give me more information on the meet and greet? Does this include the ER? I know Methodist has multiple locations so which one is this meet and greet at? Thanks!

Thanks! I just realized this is for the residency tho. I'm an experienced nurse so I'm not sure if I qualify. I'm just looking for someone to talk to to get more information about their ER!

they will be able to tell you that at the Meet and Greet, and if you don't, you'll probably be introduced to several of the nurse managers of different departments ANYWAY!!!!!!! You GO GIRL!!!!! They will say, let me help you find your way thru this, to speak to the appropriate folks. I'll bet the recruiters will be out in FORCE. NO PROBLEMO GIRLFRIEND!! Go and ENJOY! San Antonio has so many FABULOUS hositals in the area, low cost of living, and good pay and benefits. GOOD MOVE!
