  1. cannot speak for Houston, but SAT is a very family friendly city. lots of families live here and my co workers tell me there are great school systems and cheap housing options ! good luck !
  2. yup SAT has numerous health systems and hospitals. almost every corner has a hospital or SNF. not exaggerating. found a job quite quickly ! good luck to you
  3. Yeah i had my physical license but since its all done online i think license number is sufficient ! :)
  4. I moved to san antonio about a month ago! SA is saturated with hospitals. Im a new grad and got two interviews and offers before moving here. Been in orientation for last 3 weeks and liking it to far !

  6. Hello all ! I am looking into applying for the SA methodist residency program starting feb 2015. Has anyone been through the process and have any tips or suggestions for me? I am considering in applying for PICU and NICU. Does it look wishy washy if I apply to two positions or is it normal? I actually live in California but am looking to move to Texas first week of January.
  7. Just an update I saw my license number on TX BON website on 12/4 :) overall the whole process took a little over 2 months from start to finish
  8. I can tell you a bit about my journey, I am a US citizen that graduated in the Philippines. Originally applied for hawaii, took NCLEX july 2014 and passed :) I started endorsement for Texas, sent out all requirements during the first week of October 2014, CGFNS CES took a little longer but TX BON received it on 10/30. During the 2nd week of November all items were received, and I was in review for about 2 weeks. Just checked it today and it says submitted for a permanent license 12/1 !! hopefully i can get my license number sometime this week ill update once i see my license number on BON !
  9. Im a foreign graduate too. I sent a CES report for the VOL verfication of my Philippine license.
