I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

Has anyone tried signing up for the HESI exam to take by the December 1st deadline? Not sure why I’m having such a hard time figuring this out?

I signed up to take the HESI next week. I was banging my head against the wall trying to register as well. The test is remotely proctored by Examity. I found the instructions for how to register on the SMU website.

@Mdc4  -I received a WL notification email on Tuesday at 3:33 PM but my portal didn't change to reflect that until Wednesday. The email indicated I am 4th on the WL so it's odd that @Justxmarie was accepted from the 10th WL position and I haven't yet... Trying not to read too much into it... My friend who currently attends SMU said to call weekly to check about WL status.

@Hogndogs Thanks! When you signed up, was the exam name still "Fall 2020" assessment?

@hmtool I believe it could be because she is referring to the Sacramento cohort and not the San Mateo one. I am currently waitlisted as number 9 so I was a bit confused as well.

Anybody here taking the TEAS on Nov 30? I feel like I won't be ready the week before the deadline to take the TEAS.

What is a good college to take patho and Physio so I can finish in march and I can apply for April Cohort?  All colleges that I am looking into are ending the classes in April. Any help would be grateful.

I know UC Berkley Extension offers it by correspondence, so you can finish at your own rate. But it’s something like $1100 a course.

From an info session I remember that you need to have all your prerequisites done by Fall '20 if you plan on applying for the April '21 start date. But if you're applying for the June cohort you can finish your prerequisites by May. The prerequisite deadlines are also on the website.
