I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

No, it actually stated “you are waitlisted for this program.” I haven’t checked it yet, but I got the official email this morning. I was 10! If you’re waitlisted, keep you’re head up. I’ve seen some cohorts that 15+ were accepted off the waitlist.

For those on the waitlist that received an email, do we just wait and see if we get another email stating we are off the waitlist (with more information on what the next steps are)?

I reached out to ------------------------------- originally when I was waitlisted. She told me she would let me know ASAP if I was pulled off the waitlist.She’s been great! If it’s for the Sac cohort, I would assume she’ll let you know ASAP. I received an email with one update which let me know I was moved to a lower number. I then received an email directly from ----------------------------- stating she pulled my name off the waitlist and I’d receive an official email the following day.

I am also close to 30! I hope we get in but it seems like our chances are very slim. I'm curious if anyone has declined their offer.
