Hello!

I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

This is strange indeed! You seem like a model applicant. I spoke to her this morning and she says they are still sending acceptance, rejection and wait list decisions “in the next week.” I still haven’t heard anything! Anyone else still waiting to hear back?

All I know is my cousin was waitlisted in the teens a few years ago and she got in. So I definitely think you have a decent chance. Many people apply to different programs or don’t accept for a variety of reasons!

Hoping they will extend the Dec 1 deadline for Summer 2021 application. 
I don’t know if I can get a good score for TEAS. Haven’t studied anything since I waited til the results.

Same! I just registered for the TEAS and looked at the practice test ques. A bit harder than I thouught so I will need to start studying soon. Are you able to also contact Anne? I think if more people contact her it’ll be more likely she will extend it!

@califlower234 I contacted --------------------------. What date did you register for TEAS? It says it may take up to 72hrs for the test score result.

Oh awesome! I tried contacting them but couldn’t get ahold of so e-mailed them instead. I registered for 11/24 but I just realized Thanksgiving is on Thursday so don’t know if that’ll delay getting results since it says 2-3 business days.. argh cutting it so close!

I called TEAS support and I was told for remote testing, results will be released right after taking the exam.

Looks like the waitlist is moving. I got in yesterday and received an official email today and will be accepting tomorrow. Don’t lose hope.

Congratulations! Thank you for giving some hope! When you were waitlisted, was your portal status changed from “under review?”
