I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

Ohh man. I hope we hear back by end of today or I'm going to be so anxious all weekend..

Same, I hope they didn’t send out the admission emails first and reject everyone else. I haven’t gotten anything

Ohh soo cool!! I bet you'd do so well in the program with all that experience you're coming in with! 

No, she time stamped her acceptance email and it did come a day after everyone else. It seems like only a handful of people for acceptances so far. So maybe there are still more that need to go out. If not, there's still the waitlist!

Ohh OK. That gives me hope. It seems like from Sac’s cohort that everyone who was waitlisted were notified the day after those accepted got their acceptance emails. With the first person getting their waitlist email at around 3pm! Ahhhh this is going to be a long day at work...

Do they send decisions out on weekends?

It just doesn't make sense to me why they'd send it out in waves, especially rejections. Has anyone asked them why?

My friend whose in the program said they don’t send decisions out on the weekend.

Is there a phone number we can call? The way they are going about this is just strange to say the least... or was that the phone call that they did not respond to?
