I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

Hi everyone

for those who were admitted, how many classes did you have in progress when you submitted? I had 3 but no news yet

I was waitlisted and in the portal it states  “waitlisted.” Mine stated under review the day most got their acceptances. I’m not sure anyone has gotten rejections? I honestly wonder how many people applied. I was told some people dropped off the back of the Sac waitlist due to getting into other schools.

I saw that too, but I wonder if the person didn't check portal like the others and just found out she got in when she got the email, which made it seem like she got accepted a few days later.. IDK I'm hoping for the best and trying to stay positive! I feel like everyone is so deserving!

@Lia Sorry for so many questions, but are your classes currently still going on? Or were they in progress when you submitted your app but are finished now?

@Sunshine3211 no worries. I am currently taking pharmacology and pathophysiology.

For those of you who were accepted to Sac,

did you guys initially find out you that you were waitlisted on the portal or was it through email?

Really appreciate all those who are fielding questions on here! So much anxiety. Really want to go here!!
