I got an official email yesterday that I’m on the waitlist. It seems like they sent those out first and today they may send out the acceptances/rejections.

Most likely they’re behind and trying to cover their butts. Last cycle there were many delays (and lack of communication). At least this time they sent an email letting everyone know what’s going on LOL

Has anyone tried logging into the portal to see if their status has changed?

This is strange considering decisions came out at 7am last cycle. I just went back and checked, my previous decision email is time stamped at 6:59am.

We most likely will not hear anything until the projected decision day which is March 30th. You can always join one of the BSN question sessions on Mondays and ask if they're on track to release decisions that day.

Check the timeline again, it says we don't hear back until march 30th.

The exams were waived for Spring 21 admission but they were reinstated for fall 21 admission. They also gave an extension to make sure scores got in so I don't think they'll dismiss that as a factor when making decisions.

Oh okay!! Yeah I haven't heard anything from them yet so I guess after the 18th they will update us

Wait I'm confused. Have they sent out generalized emails yet about the applications/cycle? Or did you guys have some sort of problem that they reached out to you?

Thank you, I really appreciate you sharing your opinion. I’ve been pretty confused on whether to do the CSU or private route. At the end of the day I just want my BSN and to become a nurse and its better to have no debt haha

CSU's have always been my top choice because of the price. The only thing that worries me is that if they have the resources some of the private schools have (USFCA, Samuel Merritt, etc.) Those privates that I mentioned say they can help you make a lot of connections that help you when you are looking for a job. I just don't want to be at a disadvantage compared to someone who paid for a private degree and they get "dibs" on positions or residency programs.
