Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

Does anyone know how many applicants moved forward?

We were originally supposed to be finding out tomorrow? 

It’s prob a long shot, but curious if anyone that created an online portal account has seen a status change? LOL

Some people were talking about it earlier in the thread if you back to pages 21-22. It's the admitted student portal. According to previous cohorts, the applicants were able to find out if they got admitted or not before they sent out the official emails.

I think I’ve read somewhere in one of the previous threads that they post their decisions on the portal the day before they send official emails. So it might be still too early ...

In case anyone was curious- I asked how many applications moved on to phase 2 and the response was roughly 283.

That's great question to ask! Thank you! I think it was roughly 400 applications they've  received. With almost 300 applicants that means our chances to get in is slightly better ?

I asked this too! All decisions will be out BY November 10th (final date). They are on track and I specifically asked that if decisions were to be finalized sooner would we be notified? and the answer I got was "it depends". So all that is certain is that the 10th is the last possible date of notification. Basically what I got from this is that it can come at any time. More stress, great LOL
