Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

Thank you for asking Momo26!! I thought it was still gonna a super large number of candidates! It still alot but not as bad as 600. Hopefully they are able to get through the applicants sooner. ?

I asked this too! All decisions will be out BY November 10th (final date). They are on track and I specifically asked that if decisions were to be finalized sooner would we be notified? and the answer I got was "it depends". So all that is certain is that the 10th is the last possible date of notification. Basically what I got from this is that it can come at any time. More stress, great LOL 

Hopefully it’s gonna be sooner than November 10th, the anticipation is killing me inside ? just 3 more weeks!!

I know!! What are you guys doing to distract yourselves? I can only watch so much Netflix without thinking about this haha

I bought soo many things on amazon to try to distract me. A butter churner is a good investment right? LOL

Oh no - not amazon!! They better release decisions before the Black Friday ads start coming out... otherwise we're gonna be a big trouble

I haven’t, I took TEAS test this Summer and I’d just use the score I got there. It stresses me out to even think about taking a test remotely...?

I haven't taken it. I've been studying for the TEAS just in case I don't get into SMU. My test is scheduled for Nov. 12.

Who are you telling!! ??? I took it this morning at 9am, but they had technical difficulties that it took them almost 3hours to navigate through it and get me logged on! I wanted to cancel it. They actually canceled my exam on accident, but they were able to get me back in. I don't even know if I took the right exam. I thought they would just give you the subjects you have to take, but I had biology, Chemistry and two personal assessments on there as well. The proctor didn't know either and told me to pick those, which I think I needed ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ I took reading comprehension first with tears in my eyes and messed it up ??  I wanted to turn off the computer,  but I wasn't sure if it's still counted as first attempt.  Also, I wasn't sure if there were still more dates available to retake it. Well that was my day ?

Hello! I got 3 books from amazon, the first is from mometrix and the other is just the next highest ranked. The last book is for the HESI, but they're all repetitive so I probably won't use it. I also watch A LOT of Khan Academy.
