Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

I've heard Dominican is great! Its too far from me otherwise I would have applied. I know a few people that graduated from there and they got jobs right away. Do you guys have a top choice between the two?

Where are you going to be commuting from Momo? My top choice is SMU because of the 2 year program vs 3

My top choice is SMU as well just because of the commute and because it’s a 2 year program.

but honestly I’d be happy to be admitted anywhere for Spring

Has anyone received an email today? I got an email to make corrections (yesterday), and I emailed them back but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

I haven’t received any emails at all. If you don’t mind me asking, was there anything majorly wrong with your application? I’m starting to think that the ones bumped to the very end have “issues” and it’s giving me anxiety?

I haven’t received anything yet. If you don’t mind me asking, did your application say verified and did your transcripts say arrived on NursingCAS? Starting to wonder if there was an issue with mine as well..

OK, that kinda makes me feel better because I would hate to be the reason the prelim phase is delayed again! But my application was verified and transcripts arrived on time. It just showed double classes on my app so I called NCAS and they fixed it right away.

I also doubt they work on weekends and after 5 pm. So I'm pretty sure it'll be delayed again. Some people have everything correct (as far as they know) and haven't received anything.

I'm going to be totally honest with you guys, I am very frustrated with them right now. They are still collecting full tuition from their students even though their classes are online - The LEAST they can do is get this stuff done on time. I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic, but given that they are a private institution profiting off of their current students, they should have the resources to get this done. It's hard to keep giving them the benefit of the doubt when there is a lack of communication and they provide no actual reason as to what is holding them up. Is anyone else feeling a similar way?

Hey guys! I got my preliminary review email an hour ago! I guess this means they're working over the weekend.
