Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

Hi Pk zee, yes I checked earlier and noticed they just kept on question the same. What is CV again? I'm actually studying for the HESI right now, because I haven't taken it before. I just tried to register for Virtual Fall preview, but the registration is closed. Maybe you can keep us updated, if they saying anything informational we don't know yet?

actually I am attending the first time but I believe it is briefing about requirement/changes of  FALL application..

CV/ Resume- under documents of Nursing cas app. Sure I will let you know if there is new information..

Hi! Yes I’ve taken the TEAS. I’m gonna check out the preview day as well, maybe they’ll give more info about Spring cycle too

Just a heads up for anyone that was not able to attend the meeting today. Shawna announced that they will be moving forward in a hybrid format for Spring semester and they hope to get decisions out the first week of November.

Thank you! Was there anything informative in the Virtual Fall Review? I was able to attend the BSN info session at 11am and Q and A at 12.45pm. There was not much new information. I have attended many sessions before, but never a Fall Preview.

Not really. It was pretty much just repeat information. The major takeaway I took was that they’re still doing hybrid which means zoom classes, etc.

Hello all, 

I am trying to apply for the fall 2021 start BSN program. I believe the application is due on December 1st however, I don't see the program on NursingCas. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone else not able to see the BSN program option on the application? Additionally, I will be retaking my TEAS exam. First time I scored a 85%, I will update with my new score soon! Good luck to all that are studying for HESI/TEAS.

@LovingNursing have you applied for Spring 2021 before? If so, you have to open a new application cycle on NursingCAS. You scored high on your first TEAS test, if you try to get a higher score go for it, but I think you don't have to retake it ? thank you and same to you!
