Hey everyone! When you look at your application after the academic update, do you see an updated GPA?

Hi, yes I do. When I download my application everything is updated.

Hi Momo,

Do you know how long after the academic update NursingCAS updated the Summer grades and GPA? I updated a couple of weeks ago and transcripts have all been received, but my GPA hasn't been updated.

Where would it show your GPA? My transcripts were verified

So its a bit complicated. Essentially you can only do one academic update and I did it for my Spring grades in June. So when I updated my Summer grades in august and sent in a new transcript, it did not get automatically verified. This is because you cannot submit another academic update. I reached out to nursingcas support via chat because I realized it had been more than 14 days and nothing was getting verified. They had to manually send in a request to their verification department in order to get those courses updated/reflect the new GPA.

If you look at your application, it's towards the end

Hi everyone! Where do we check our "updated GPA" in nursingcas? I see that I am completely verified, but cannot find my updated GPA for whatever reason. Does anyone know where I can find this? thank you!

hey everyone,

I will be applying for fall 2021. I had some questions regarding apps. Which classes do they look at when reviewing applications, is it all the listed prereqs on their website or just particular science classes?

They look at GPA for the last 60 units and science prerequisites which are Chem, Anatomy, Physiology, and Micro. And they make sure all the non-science prerequisites are completed.

Hi Jazmin,

Download your application and you'll be able to find your new calculated GPA. Just make sure you have received an email from NursingCAS that they have verified your academic update.

I know they said for our cycle that tests were not required, but I’m a bit curious that if someone unofficially reported them  ( TEAS or HESI) anyways, would it help them out? Like give an advantage

Hi everyone! My grades are unverified on NCAS because my transcript did not go through completely. They can't figure out why, and I've been talking to people all day. So, if you sent in a transcript and it's not verified, I suggest you reach out and ensure all your courses are showing up on the transcripts you sent. Best of luck, everyone!

That’s what I was wondering as well. I doubt it though ?
