Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

I missed that part! I just requested my updated Transcripts be sent to NursingCAS. Am I still OK as long as I "Updated" the grades in NursingCAS even if they haven't received the revised official transcript yet?

I think someone talked about that earlier. I think it means that they just going to go over your application after they review the rest of the applications

Who else waiting for Initial review email?

I haven't received it yet. It seems like this is the largest application pool they've had thus far - so everything is going much slower on their end. At this point I'm hoping we get the decisions by November.

Has anyone attended any of the BSN seminars that’s held? If so what do they consist of? I know that they’re online and there’s one coming up is this something that we should attend since we are potential students?

yes, you are right more than 300 application. she said, final decision will be in Nov.

I attended a few. It's pretty much just basic information on the application process (outlining pre-reqs, other requirements). I think its more helpful for prospective applicants than it is for applicants that get admitted.

Hey everyone! When you look at your application after the academic update, do you see an updated GPA?

I just took a look at my application, and my GPA is not updated. I took 3 Summer courses and all say "unverified" on my application. Only the verified classes/grades are calculated so far!
