Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

Hey Starla,

Can you share more info on how you know the transcripts didn't go through completely? When you look in NCAS does it show all transcripts received? Or does it still say "updated transcript required"?

Of course! It says that my transcripts have been received and processed, however, my grades aren't verified/updates. I called them (NCAS) and my Spring 20' and Summer 20' grades are not on the transcripts. I also emailed Shawna and she told me not to worry about it (this was a few days ago), so I sent in another transcript just in case and that one was also missing coursework. Shawna emailed me again saying my transcripts do not reflect what I put on my application (because my grades aren't verified).

Thanks so much for the info! I'm going to reach out too, because my grades haven't been reverified yet, and all my transcripts have been received.

Are most people still waiting to receive initial review emails? The new timeline said applications would be sent to the department sep 15-20th. The 20th is this Sunday and I'm pretty sure they don't work on the weekends... I've yet to receive anything

Hi Momo26,

I just received the initial review email yesterday. I think they might put in some overtime ? because people have to reapply by December if they don't get in.

Has anyone who is taking prereqs in the fall or who's grades are not verified gotten the initial review email?

Same here. All my stuff is verified for NursingCAS and I haven’t gotten anything. In a previous comment, it was said that they are working in different spots with 4 reviewers so it’s likely that they haven’t gotten to us yet. As long as you have everything verified, then you shouldn’t worry about it. If the 21st arrives and you haven’t received anything, then pursue emailing because I’m sure most people would do that.

constantly checking email but haven't received anything.

Pk zee, if you haven't did you check your spam folder as well? They said to check it as well.
