Samuel Merritt Spring 2021 BSN

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

I see what you’re saying. It feels like the pandemic has really changed the game. Other schools are deferring cohorts and limiting spots, so I can’t help but think that the actions of those schools will effect this cycle as well.

That’s true!

all we can do it wait and hope for the best ?

I keep telling myself if I don’t get in anywhere for Spring, it would suck, but it would not be the end of the world ?

I quick question to those who already took CPR course. Which one do we need to take? For general public or medical workers ?

You don’t need it to apply, but before you start you will need the BLS for healthcare workers from the AHA

I got one , but it was awhile ago. I think we should hear from them soon once everyone submits their Summer grades

The last one I got was the one with the timeline for the application process. Was there another one after that?

It is only for the BSN (Oakland campus)

I have not, but I am also taking Summer courses that need to be updated on nursingcas. Are you taking Summer classes? I’m assuming that’s why. Once they have all the grades they can move forward with notifications
