Samuel Merritt Spring 2017 ABSN

Hello! I just wanted to make a thread specifically for those who are applying to the Samuel Merritt ABSN for a spring 2017 start. I'm applying to start in April 2017. It's the only program I'm applying to, as I can't afford more than a year without an income and I really want a BSN and not an MSN at this time. I'm done with my application, just waiting for nursing CAS to verify all my transcripts before I click submit! Currently working full time and taking my last 3 pre recs online. What about you?

April! It arrived at 8:02 am but I just saw it bc I hadn't checked my junk folder earlier. It was just a form email from the Office of Admissions with subject line "Congratulations on your admission to Samuel Merritt." I think they are doing April first.

I sure hope so! Or maybe it's alphabetical or something? I'm Oakland may start so maybe they do it all one by one? Congratulations!! I'm sure it is such a complete relief :yes:

Wow, that is great news for you!! I applied to the June cohort. They are probably sending emails to the April cohort first, like you said. Oh man, I am so anxious and nervous. Good for you!! Are going to have to move? Where do you currently live? I applied to the San Mateo, June cohort, because I am finishing up my last pre-req.

I live in sf and have kids so I'm not moving anywhere :). Samuel Merritt was the only school I applied to. Hope everyone hears soon and gets good news! Remember that it will be in the junk folder!

No email here, and I checked my Spam folder too :(. I applied for all cohorts but ranked Oakland and San Mateo June cohort as my 1 and 2 preference. Maybe I'll have to wait longer??

I just checked my email and I didn't receive anything either. I think the April cohort will hear first and June will probably be the last one; but then again, who knows. I really hope we all hear good news soon.

Oakland acceptance received but it was in my Spam folder as well. Gmail filtered it out as such. Congrats to all who got in!
