Hello! I just wanted to make a thread specifically for those who are applying to the Samuel Merritt ABSN for a spring 2017 start. I'm applying to start in April 2017. It's the only program I'm applying to, as I can't afford more than a year without an income and I really want a BSN and not an MSN at this time. I'm done with my application, just waiting for nursing CAS to verify all my transcripts before I click submit! Currently working full time and taking my last 3 pre recs online. What about you?

I made the group closed again so you guys can find it. I'll make it private when a majority of us join.

To clarify for anyone that got confused like I did- the June Facebook group (no location specified in the name) is for San Mateo and the May Oakland one is for... Oakland.

also, have you looked into loans? we can't get federal loans bc we already have a bachelors. i've never done private before. i also still have a TON of loans from my last degree. hopefully i will still be able to qualify for private loans!

Hi,

This is the San Mateo location right? I was thinking of transferring from Oakland to the San Mateo location, so before doing so, I was just wondering how you guys like the program at San Mateo so far. Oakland seems to be the main campus and has Sutter Hospital right next to it, but San Mateo is a lot closer to me. I'm just wondering if doing that extra commute from Cupertino to Oakland is worth it or are all the locations pretty much the same (professors, clinicals, scheduling, etc.)
