Hello fellow applicants, alumni, and SMU associates,
Can anyone provide insight into the application timeline for SMU's ELMSN-FNP program intended to start Fall 2020 (Oakland cohort)? The deadline to submit applications through NursingCAS was December 1, 2019.
-When should we expect correspondence to interview or for denial?
-Are interviews 1:1 or mixed, or both?
-When do final acceptances usually go out?
Thank you all.
I just got off the phone and they told me that in-person interviews are all next week (3/2-3/6) at varying times, if they need to extend then they will extend to the 9th, but other than that, we should be hearing back about acceptances/denials/wait-list by the end of next week. Good luck everyone

Thank you @jackiewackie44 for the info. I hope your phone interview went well!
It sounds as if the committee pretty much already has in mind who is getting in. There's no 3-4 week decision making meetings to drag it out as some other programs do. These interviews seem to be just a "second glance," if you will, to cement their decisions.
Good luck to all!

I haven’t, and I got the email on the 17th. I’m wondering that too. Perhaps we were one of the last groups of people to get that email and in that case will be some of the last (crossing fingers) to get invites.
