Hello fellow applicants, alumni, and SMU associates,

Can anyone provide insight into the application timeline for SMU's ELMSN-FNP program intended to start Fall 2020 (Oakland cohort)? The deadline to submit applications through NursingCAS was December 1, 2019.

-When should we expect correspondence to interview or for denial?

-Are interviews 1:1 or mixed, or both?

-When do final acceptances usually go out?

Guys!! Got the preliminary review email just a couple of minutes ago from SMU letting me know it’s complete. For those of us who hadn’t gotten anything yet up to this point keep your hopes up ❤️The emails are coming ☺️

Just got one as well!!! How long do you guys think it'll take them to start sending out interview invites? Shouldn't we have interviews around the same time as the CM specialty?

Hopefully we get them any day now! I would think that interviews would be around the same time, but I’m not entirely sure. Have you heard anything else other than the preliminary review email?

A student told me it's "president's week break", and classes will resume next week (3/24). I assume this means the staff is off as well. Hopefully next week there will be some news.

I received an update for SMU for FNP interviews and I hope everyone else has too! Has anyone interviewed before and know what kinds of questions are asked?

I got an email with instructions for registering for an interview time slot. They're being held March 3/4.
