Hi everyone! 

I haven't seen anyone post about SMU's BSN program for Spring 2022 in Oakland. Is anyone applying? This is my first time applying and July 1st is coming up quick! 

Specializes in Oncology medical assistant.

Hi- I was just seeing if anyone has gotten an update on their application or know usually how long their acceptance process takes? I'm curious and nervous to find out!

Hi! When I spoke to the admission counselor they told me decisions should go out at the end of October! Feels like so long from now

The only thing I believe we should have received is that our application has been verified. I have called the school and they told me they don't have an exact date when letters will be going out, the lady I spoke to told me it could be anywhere up to 6 weeks before the program starts. ugh!

Are we suppose to revive that verified email from SMU? Wow I never revived one. Can you please post a pic of what the email looks like?

these are the two emails I have received about my application. There has been nothing else. just realized it says please refrain from calling the office of admissions and I have already called them twice about when they will tell us haha

They just emailed us with updates on the timeline for our application. They will let us know by October 15th.

Hello everyone! I wanted to ask if many of you are still taking prerequisite classes or if many of you will have prerequisite classes in progress after decisions come out?

I’m done with all the prerequisites since the end of Summer 2021. I’m just volunteering and working at hospital for experience.
