  1. Hi! Could I ask which coordinator you reached out to? I've been trying to get an update on my app/interview but haven't heard back yet.
  2. Hi! Has anyone else who got an L&D interview last month heard back yet?
  3. Mm I would check with the coordinator regarding the physical due date, but I got mine about a month before the program started and from what I recall it was due before we started clinicals. The scrub tops and pants were about $20-30/ea and other students mentioned only needing about 2 sets if you plan on washing them often. Plus shoes of course :).
  4. Yep! I’m at the sac campus but I’m commuting so I have a ~40min drive each way. Our fall lectures are still on zoom (not sure how it’ll be next sem) so for now we’re just going on campus for labs twice a week. Clinicals (twice a week) start after week 5 and ours are only in the Sac/Roseville region. But they always say be flexible since that can change.
  5. Yep! I have both the cargo and jogger styles and I totally prefer the joggers. They didn’t care what style we wore as long as it was navy and specifically the Landau brand.
  6. Congrats!! The white embroidered SMU tops can be purchased from the bookstore (or from previous students selling theirs) and we have to wear Landau navy pants with white shoes. For womens scrub tops, I’d recommend the proflex option since it’s more fitted and less boxy. For shoes, a lot of people preferred Hokas or Cloves.
  7. Ahh got my acceptance letter for the sac campus!
  8. Yeah, I'm working on my second round of applications just in case and I emailed NursingCAS about this since I had resent the link to one of my recs and it instantly came back as being received right away. However, the other link I sent to a professor didn't come back right away and she had to resubmit the letter of rec again. Here's the feedback I got from NursingCAS. "Yes, you need to add recommendation individually for each program. However, it appears your recommenders do have the option to mark their first recommendation to be reused. This means they would only have to complete it once and it would mark complete for any additional programs you request them for as long as they click yes to reuse it. "
  9. Ohh no I haven’t sent my Spring grades yet, just planned Summer classes that are in progress.
  10. I ended up adding my planned Summer classes to my application and I didn’t get a confirmation through NursingCAS, so they recommended following up with the school. I checked in with one of the counselors to make sure it showed up on their end and it did so I think everything is fine LOL.
  11. Aww I wish it was the end of May haha no, sorry didn’t hear abt the SM campus, just Sac.
  12. Hi! I checked in this morning and they said to expect decisions for the Sac campus to come out the week of 6/20 ?
  13. @Mariahwiley Congrats on getting admitted before! If you don’t mind me asking, what we’re your stats? ?
  14. Hi! I was originally going to apply for Spring 2023 but was encouraged to try for Fall 2022 since I met all the requirements (just have pathophysio pending for Summer and pharmacology in progress). I’m applying for the Sac campus and completed most of my prereqs within the past year, with the exception of anatomy and stats which I’m pulling from my undergrad. Stats: 3.56 overall / 3.83 science only GPA 88.7% overall TEAS (kind of worried since my science portion was around 80% but I’ve read about others who’ve gotten in with less) Bachelors in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley (2013) Some volunteer experience at a hospice facility and previous work experience at a healthcare org and research lab LoR from Microbio professor, former boss at healthcare org and volunteer coordinator (pending) Fingers crossed and best of luck everyone!
  15. Hmm I thought SMU doesn’t do interviews?
