I haven't found a thread for this yet, so I figured I would start one! I am applying in August, after I have my grades from my summer courses. I was wondering what stats other applicants have as well :) I still have to complete human physio lab, general chem and lab, nutrition, and psych so I am not sure if I will get in this time around, but it can't hurt to apply!
Pervious major: Cell and Molecular Biology
Last 60 GPA: 3.4
Prereq GPA (so far): 3.9
TEAS Adjusted Individual Score: 92.7%
TEAS National and Program Percentile Rank: 99

Does anyone know if they let people know alphabetically or in some other system?
I'm not sure, but I know past cohorts have tried to figure that out and it doesn't look like they go in alphabetical order. I'm assuming they will notify Oakland first but within each cohort it looks random. I'm so anxious! I feel like every time I get my mind off of SMU someone asks me if I have found out yet. Crossing my fingers that we all have good news to share by the end of this week :)
Thank you all for the updates. I am so nervous! It would make sense if they notified based off of "rank". From looking at past boards it seems like the people on the wait list are notified last probably because as they call admitted students they may decline if they have gotten in somewhere else opening up a spot for someone down the list. I have no idea if that is really how it works it is just my guess.
Looking through last year's thread for the San Mateo cohort, applicants heard on 3/22. They received calls during the evening time? They may notify us in the evening, so keep your ears peeled!
Just woke up to an acceptance email to San Mateo! It was sent at 1:44 AM...I'll never understand this school. I hope everyone else got that email too, or will soon.
Congrats, dkol97!! I'm thrilled for you!! Can you provide the beginning letter of the name that sent you the email? I believe "E" from Admissions works on both ABSN Oakland/San Mateo programs. I applied for Oakland and heard notifications will be made this week. High fives to ya again !

I got my acceptance into San Mateo June cohort too. It was sent at 2.20 a.m. I was so happy to see it, the first thing in the morning. Let's hear it from other students too. Also, let's keep in touch and enjoy the journey:-)
Congrats Sudhasaravan! Was your email from "E" in Admissions or someone else? I know we can't post names though if you can provide details of your letter and first letter of the person's name that would be great. Kudos again!
I got the email at 2:15am it was forwarded from E but the letter was from the Director of Admissions. Those of you still waiting will be in my prayers. That was the toughest wait of my life. Thank God it said "SMU acceptance letter" right in the subject line because I was half asleep. I hope to see you all in June (I will be in San Mateo) :)
