I haven't found a thread for this yet, so I figured I would start one! I am applying in August, after I have my grades from my summer courses. I was wondering what stats other applicants have as well :) I still have to complete human physio lab, general chem and lab, nutrition, and psych so I am not sure if I will get in this time around, but it can't hurt to apply!

I can't help but be a little bummed that Oakland applicants applied in September last year and are the last ones to be notified.
Ya, I'm a little bummed too. But I was thinking earlier that it might be because they had already done April acceptances for San Mateo and their June list was partially roll-overs from that? So it was ready to go a little quicker than ours? The waiting is very hard though...and bordering on ridiculously long! :)

Hey everyone! I am in the same boat as whitdog7. This is my first post, but I have been checking this blog everyday to see if anyone had heard. I received my acceptance email for San Mateo early this morning and really want to connect with everyone in the cohort! Congrats to everyone and sorry for those who continue to wait..Such a draining process!
It looks like past cohorts create facebook groups to connect. FB won't let me create a group without a friend to add so it's kind of a catch22. Any ideas for connecting?
I have a quick suggestion though. The Facebook group for the ABSN Oakland class before me was called "ABSN Oakland Class of 2012" and mine is called "Samuel Merritt University - ABSN Oakland - Class of 2013". Might I suggest you change yours to "Class of 2014" to avoid confusion? I've already inadvertently been introduced to two of yours peers who got led astray :-)

Good morning Oakland hopefuls. I received an email from E. She said she was out on medical leave for a few days and when she contacted Oakland campus she got a "scrambled response". She said she was instructed to contact the campus and figure things out before notifying applicants, but that she hopes to be able to do it today.
