I haven't found a thread for this yet, so I figured I would start one! I am applying in August, after I have my grades from my summer courses. I was wondering what stats other applicants have as well :) I still have to complete human physio lab, general chem and lab, nutrition, and psych so I am not sure if I will get in this time around, but it can't hurt to apply!

I was very tempted to call "E" yesterday as the swarm of news for the ABSN San Mateo (June cohort) came out though nothing for Oakland (May cohort). I didn't though, as I was "hoping" some news would come out today for the Oakland cohort. Like you, it's exciting (though disappointing) for other cohorts which start later than ours, to hear their news first... Let's keep our fingers crossed we will hear our results today! Thanks so much for your information!
Hi yedwards42, The letter of acceptance was from the Director of Admission. But it was forwarded to me by San Mateo admissions counselor. I am sorry that the Oakland group has to wait longer. Hang in there. Anyways, look on the brighter side, you'll start earlier than us:-) Good Luck!

Hi everyone! I got into the San Mateo summer start yesterday! I almost stroked out when I saw the email after all this waiting! I was actually supposed to do the program 1.5 years ago but I had to give up my seat due to financial reasons at the time, but this time around I've got it all figured out. Anyway, I can't wait to meet all of you at orientation! & good luck to all of you still waiting to hear back!
I just spoke with E, and she said she is waiting on one final clarification to release the news/decisions for the Oakland cohort. Once confirmed, she will contact us via e-mail. I let her know we're all excited to hear the final decisions, and are sitting on the edge of our seats. :) She hopes to contact us today. Stayed tuned all!!
