So, who applied?

You know - they do list the "stats" for GPAs and TEAS scores for the last couple programs on their site as well, for those students accepted into the program.

what do you mean get your transcripts back?

I was under the impression that when sent to NursingCas or to the administration they were gone for good.

I meant getting my transcripts from the schools to be able to re=apply if needed for the November SF Cohort. Barstow College takes forever to process transcript requests.

Hi everyone,

I applied to the Summer SF cohort as well and am getting very anxious to hear back. I'm still a little shocked that they wait until a month before school starts to let us know if we got in. I'm from SF but living in Seattle now...so if I get in I will have to quickly quit my job, pack my stuff, and move back. Ugh.

Does anyone know when in April the Summer SF program starts? Last I heard they did not know yet...which I find odd.

brendalwelsh- I just met your friend today, as I bought a bunch of books off of her! I was so glad to meet her (single mom to an amazing 5 year old) as I'm in school now, with a 1 year old and a 5 year old- There's hope of making it thru this program after all!

I'm going to complete my application if I can get a DSST test done for Interpersonal Communication somewhere. In that case, I'll take patho and pharm online with SMU.

Can we apply to all campuses? (in designated start period)

I would love to get into Sac..but I want to start ASAP, so my choices are Oakland and San Mateo right now.

I have a sister who works in SF and lives in Oakland, so housing would work in my favor! Good luck everyone!

Has anyone checked the SMU website lately? It says they are accepting applications for summer cycle still. What?! I hope that doesn't mean that we may need to reapply if we've already applied through Nursingcas by the 9/1 deadline. I've tried calling but haven't gotten through to anyone yet. I'm so confused...

So it sounds like they're concerned with people not being done with prereqs on time so they're accepting more applications. New applications will not impact those that already applied. Phew!

I just saw that on their website as well. I am confused. Are they not able to fill the seats for each campus with those that applied on Nursing CAS by the 9/1 deadline? I do not understand how new applicants wouldn't impact those of us that had already applied.

I think they are still accepting people for the summer. I spoke with Mrs. Vertali or something like that and we were discussing the few things I would have to do to meet the deadline. And also how I could complete the rest of my prereqs which she said would have to be completed by end of this spring semester. I just have Interpersonal Comm, which I am taking a DSST for and Patho and Pharm which I will take with SMU online.

That was the impression I was getting from my conversation with her...and if so, I am applying to get into the summer and if I don't get in, I'll apply for the Fall.
