I'm new to this site, but have been following the allnurses posts regarding Samuel Merritt program applications religiously for a while now. I recently applied to the ABSN and ELMSN - FNP program for the July 1 deadline. Thought it would be great to have a place to provide insight, stay updated and share experiences with all of you through this terrifying journey. I mean we ONLYYY have to wait until October - November to hear anything. Let the wait begin.....
Your log in for your letter of intent is different. It's the user name and password they sent you. Where as the admitted student portal is your email and a different password

Also, I've been trying to get someone on the phone to talk about being enrolled at the San Mateo campus instead of Sacramento, and have been transferred to the admission counselors' voicemails multiple times. It's getting really frustrating to not have anyone available/able/willing to help but hopefully that will change when Katharine gets back in the office tomorrow!

Have you tried emailing her? When I emailed her last week she responded fairly quickly!

Yes, I've emailed her twice and the general admissions email once as well. She also got back to me fairly quickly last week but must be enjoying the last day of her vacation off of her email today!

This is my second time on the waitlist. Fall18 I received the waitlist notification and no other email since, so I am assuming you have to contact them for movement to the waitlist.
Hi @lulubella0328, I am praying for ya! It seems like those that take a little while get in. At least that's my perception. I received an email Fri, Oct 5th late afternoon. Hope you get relief this week!
Hi @JRS32 congrats! I will reach out if I don't hear back in a couple weeks. I would like to know the status of movement on the waitlist, I don't know if they'll communicate unless there is a solid placement.
Good luck!! @missmeyling I read from another year that one cohort moved past #19, so it can be done. Praying the odds are in our favor for this session.
