I'm new to this site, but have been following the allnurses posts regarding Samuel Merritt program applications religiously for a while now. I recently applied to the ABSN and ELMSN - FNP program for the July 1 deadline. Thought it would be great to have a place to provide insight, stay updated and share experiences with all of you through this terrifying journey. I mean we ONLYYY have to wait until October - November to hear anything. Let the wait begin.....
Same here. I created an account on the portal and it says my application was submitted and denied. I don't want to believe it but I think it's accurate :/
If that was their final decision then rejection emails would be sent out or currently being sent out but they're not. And I think there's a reason they're not. Maybe this is just me in denial but hey, what's the harm in keeping the faith
Ughhh I just logged in and mine said denied too. Also since I was rejected twice before those are listed and it says denied.... STILL trying to keep hope.
Jessjo I can't believe that you would be rejected again. I refuse to believe it! I haven't logged in to the student portal but until I receive an official email from them, I'm going to continue expecting good news....*sigh*
They would have to send out rejection emails like they have in the past and to just inform the student as well. But they're waiting for something it seems like...or else the emails would be sent by now
I just signed into the portal right now and under the "Congratulations, you've been admitted", it doesn't show my status to the campuses I applied to. So I'm guessing they really are still reviewing it? My friend that also applied, her says waitlisted for her campus.
Hi, Sorry I may be late to this but how do you sign into the portal? I went on the SM admitted student thing but I do not have a account with a username or password. What did you guys use to log on?

I found the admitted student portal too but I don't want to log in and be annoying and have admissions see that. I think I'm paranoid lol
