  1. It's really not bad at all! I got so into what I was writing that I easily reached 4.5 pages with no issues and it didn't take me very long either
  2. Hi everyone! I'm a current ELMSN-CM student who just started in Jan 2019. The interview process for CMs was one on one, and for me it was very conversational and I immediately felt comfortable after a few introductory questions. She did go over my grades going back to my first year of undergrad, along with going over my HESI scores, so I do believe those play a factor in the deciding process. I definitely suggest being yourselves because a good conversation can go a long way! Good luck with your applications and interviews, and let me know if you have any questions!
  3. I got my acceptance letter at 7:00 this morning! I hope all of you whom are waiting hear back today!
  4. Have you tried emailing her? When I emailed her last week she responded fairly quickly!
  5. @ JBBSN07, I too was wondering this about the secondary campus, because I put Sacramento as my second choice campus but only heard back from San Mateo. To everyone still waiting, hang in there! I know it's rough, but hopefully answers will be coming soon and I'm praying it's all good news for everyone!
  6. Waitlisted 64/70.. good luck to everyone!
  7. Just received a response when asking about the status of my application for ABSN and was told that it was still being reviewed and will hear back with a decision within 2 weeks.
  8. I also haven't heard anything.. this wait is terrible. I emailed the counselor at Sacramento campus yesterday regarding my ELMSN application for Sacramento and she told me all final decisions will be sent out by mid to late October, so along the lines of what others have been told.
  9. Did you receive your waitlist confirmation at the same time when people received their acceptances or later?
  10. For those of you who have called for updates, did you ask specifically for the status of your application or did you ask for a general timeline? I emailed one of the counselors at the Oakland campus and she responded saying she doesn't have that information, but she redirected it to someone who may have the information. I'm thinking about calling for the status of my application, but I don't want to bother them and don't know if it'll do me any good..
  11. I think you're fine! During my interview of ELMSN, my interviewer had reiterated that they look at the applicant as a whole, rather than just the grades or experiences or personal statements. My stats: Science GPA: 3.7 (pharm and patho in progress) Last 60: 3.4 I work as a medical assistant and medical scribe and have over 2000 patient care hours. My LOR are from 2 PA's I've worked with, a physiology professor and an anatomy professor to whom I've worked closely for a few years during undergrad.
  12. What're your stats, if you don't mind me asking? I feel like my GPAs aren't that low, but i'm worried it's my HESI score that's effecting my overall application since I got an 86% overall.
  13. I'm also still waiting for an email from ABSN and ELMSN...
  14. I haven't gotten one either, so I'm not losing hope yet! Last year I had received an official rejection letter, so I'm kind of basing this year off of that
