I'm new to this site, but have been following the allnurses posts regarding Samuel Merritt program applications religiously for a while now. I recently applied to the ABSN and ELMSN - FNP program for the July 1 deadline. Thought it would be great to have a place to provide insight, stay updated and share experiences with all of you through this terrifying journey. I mean we ONLYYY have to wait until October - November to hear anything. Let the wait begin.....
I just got notification that I was waitlisted. There's 55 spots on the waitlist and I'm 47, so I'm pretty sure I won't have any chance of getting in. Best of luck to everyone. I'll probably be back on here for Fall 2019 applications. I've really enjoyed having everyone to lean on and I really do hope the best for everyone. Take care and work hard!!
So it looks like they have 2 waitlists cause I am waitlisted for San Mateo and am 31/70. Not having much hope here either and don't know if I am going to apply a third time. Only moved about 10 spots on the waitlist from cohort to cohort. Super bummed and good luck to the rest of you who are higher up on the list!

I think there is a waitlist for sacramento and one for san mateo. San mateos waitlist has more people on it.
