  1. What were both your waitlist positions?
  2. If the cutoff is 62, I would be happy with that.
  3. We have to send requests again. Kind of a hassle.
  4. Did most of you apply to other programs as backup or to increase your chances of getting into another program? I applied to other community colleges, but I was really hoping for SMU.
  5. Is anyone giving up their spot?
  6. I heard it from the admissions director over the summer. But he said it varies every application period.
  7. Within a month the waitlist moves
  8. Does it seem like the waitlist has way more people on it than before? I was 12 of 36 last semester. Also I was told that sometimes 35-40 people get moved off the waitlist, it just depends on that specific cohort.
  9. I'm 31 of 55. I'm holding out hope!
  10. I hope we all get in! This is so nerve wracking.
  11. Nothing here... Sighhhhhhhhhhhhh
  12. Do we know how many people are being accepted each day? 5? 7? If it's 28 for each cohort, wouldn't 7 people be accepted each day for 4 days straight? And if the trend is to receive an email every morning at 7am, then maybe we only have two more mornings of acceptance letters? Probably overthinking it. I was waitlisted no. 12 for the fall and only moved up to no. 9. I was more hopeful for the spring of 2019 but now I'm not so sure. I do think more people are moved off the waitlist because I think more people find out about other programs they applied to that they consider enrolling at.
