I'm new to this site, but have been following the allnurses posts regarding Samuel Merritt program applications religiously for a while now. I recently applied to the ABSN and ELMSN - FNP program for the July 1 deadline. Thought it would be great to have a place to provide insight, stay updated and share experiences with all of you through this terrifying journey. I mean we ONLYYY have to wait until October - November to hear anything. Let the wait begin.....
Hi! How did you find out? Did you get an email asking you to interview? I'm applying for the elmsn program and I can't find the separate thread for it. I haven't heard anything from the admissions office yet :/
I applied for the ELMSN and ABSN, applicants from the ELMSN are getting emails about interviews. I haven't gotten one yet, but am praying for one. Good luck everyone!
Hello, emails haven't been sent out yet. It states online that acceptable letters are sent out Oct-Nov. hopefully sooner though!
Could you let us know where you saw Oct-Nov for acceptance letters? I have searched high and low for application timelines and have not seen anything for the ABSN program. Or is that timeline for the ELMSN program? Thanks!!
Hi group! I have put the link in where it says October-November for admission notification. I keep reminding myself that these are the last few months of freedom (thinking positively) and to try to enjoy them. There will be plenty of time for us to stress while in NS! We got this :)

Thank you! I appreciate the link. I wish we didn't have such a long wait!! Makes me wonder why the April applications get their answer back so much sooner? Oh well! I had hoped for only 2-4 more weeks of waiting. Buckle up! It's a long ride!!
My hope is they put that up there to deter people from asking any sooner. It is very possible we will hear back sooner, like the previous cohorts have. They didn't extend our deadline... so fingers crossed! Having more notice to plan the next year of our lives would be very helpful! Although they could tell me the day before and I'd show up! HA!
