Hi all,
I noticed threads for other Samuel Merritt campuses and semesters but not the ABSN program that starts January 2010 in San Mateo. I was a little discouraged to read all of the frustrations of the San Francisco campus for fall. San Mateo is my #1 choice and it was only between that and Sac for winter semester. I'm wondering if there is anyone else who applied for 2010 in either campus. From what I gathered from other posts it takes about 3-4 months to get a reply? Its gonna be a looong wait! Who's waiting with me?
Do you think it will be very impacted?
With Regards..
HAHA!...Its funny because i was originally pre-med, and decided last minute to apply to nursing school because i thought it would take less work to get in...Now i feel i might be biting off more than i can chew...Now i think i have a better shot at getting into med school in the Caribbean than i do getting into this program
MascliNurse2b,
I got the same email. I'm assuming they just sent it to all the folks who applied for Spring 2010, but of course, I'd LOVE to think otherwise (like they sent it to those accepted). One can only hope! I swear from this email to the one about your package being complete to the one from the guy who tried to set up study groups...I'm going bananas. I'm sure I'm not the only one who skips a heartbeat when an email from SMU is sitting in your inbox. Please let me know if you find out what "conditionally accepted students" means after you email SMU. Good Luck!!!
Haha! I could have written all of your posts. I think this school gets a kick out of torturing people! I responded to the sender with a million questions trying to find out what conditionally accepted meant. Hopefully it means that they will be letting us know soon. For those of you who filled out the FAFSA, when they ask what level of college you are applying for did you put graduate/professional or undergrad? there really isnt an ABSN option.. :/
well i just got an email regaurding the application status for the absn san mateo cohort. here is the email:

[color=#333333]responses are expected at the end of september. nothing has been decided yet and neither you, nor your parents should be worried.

the "[color=#333333]neither you, nor your parents should be worried." part is just their response to me letting them know my parents are getting worried and losing their patients...but i guess it means we should be hearing from them very soon...
