Hi All!
I am applying to the Sacramento ABSN cohort for 2016 and would like to hear from others that are applying or graduates of the program! Current application stats, thoughts on the program, etc. I have my bachelors from UC Davis in Nutrition and have TONS of experience in the ER. I am currently an ER Tech at Lodi memorial and have been a scribe at UC Davis. My science GPA is 3.0, but my last 60 semester units are 3.87 and my TEAS scores that I just took today are all over 90%.
Hope to hear about all of your experiences and pray that we all get in! :D
Hey everyone, congratulations on those acceptance e-mails! I just received an e-mail and I am #1 on the waitlist out of 27...I have read in previous cohorts they have accepted quite a few off of the waitlist, anyone know if my chances of getting bumped up are good? I figure being in the number one slot it is highly likely...I hope!!!
Congrats! I know in this year's class my friend was 6 on wait list and got in. If anyone has questions about the program pm me. I was in this years class until July...broke bones after being crushed with a car and sadly couldn't make it up this year. So I'll be joining you all in July for peds and look forward to meeting you!
Hi All,
I too was very excited to receive an admissions email yesterday! Mine says Peninsula, and I have been unable to speak with anyone today, but I am hoping it is supposed to be Sacramento.
Does anyone know when they'll be asking for transcripts or grades from any outstanding courses we had in progress?
I can't wait to meet you all :)
Allison, I heard from an admissions counselor that we are to send all official transcripts and documents to nursingCAS as they become available :)
Looking forward to meeting you all! It seems like other cohorts have started a Facebook group, would anyone be interested in doing this for our cohort? :)
