I am applying to the Sacramento ABSN cohort for 2016 and would like to hear from others that are applying or graduates of the program! Current application stats, thoughts on the program, etc. I have my bachelors from UC Davis in Nutrition and have TONS of experience in the ER. I am currently an ER Tech at Lodi memorial and have been a scribe at UC Davis. My science GPA is 3.0, but my last 60 semester units are 3.87 and my TEAS scores that I just took today are all over 90%.

Well September is here! I'm hoping that some of the decisions are made by this month for Samuel Merritt, if not we will have to wait a whole month! I can't take all of this wait time!!
I emailed one of the counselors today asking when admissions decisions might be expected. She's out of the office today, but I'll make sure to post here when I hear anything!
I just received an email saying that my application has passed the SMU admission review and has been found complete. Did anyone also receive this message? I feel like my app is late because it took awhile to fix some stuff on my application.
I got an email on 9/16 stating my application was "in progress" (I had 3 prerequisites outstanding when I submitted my application) and had been passed on to the nursing committee for further review.
Still nothing! Could they be waiting for the online summer Patho and Pharm classes to finish? They both wrap up this week. I'm taking both and I know that grades must be posted by Oct. 12th -- that's cutting it really close, though.
It seems to me that they wouldn't wait for classes to finish...after all they aren't just waiting for grades to post, they would need to account for the time it would take to receive and review the official transcripts. I hope they release decisions soon too, also getting very anxious!!
