Samuel Merritt ABSN Fall 2020

Hi everyone! Just wanted to get the conversation started for those who will be applying for the ABSN Fall 2020 cohort. I will be applying for the Sacramento location by the April 1 deadline. Is anyone finishing up their requirements now to do so as well? I'd love to connect with you!

I think the number of slots in Sacramento have stayed the same. Other locations have delayed admissions and therefore pushed Winter cohort applications out to accommodate current students and applicants. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Pre-Requisite GPA: 3.8

~3 years of clinical experience via employment (EMT/ED Tech)

~400 hours of volunteer (medical and community related)

I was looking at the Samuel Merritt Academic Calendar. The Sacramento September start date for the 2020 ABSN program is listed as January 4th! Not September. Has anyone heard anything about the start date?

I thought the first deadline was for Fall 2020, September 2020, then the latest deadline, July 1st, is for Spring 2021, having January make sense?
