Samuel Merritt ABSN Fall 2020

Hi everyone! Just wanted to get the conversation started for those who will be applying for the ABSN Fall 2020 cohort. I will be applying for the Sacramento location by the April 1 deadline. Is anyone finishing up their requirements now to do so as well? I'd love to connect with you!

According to the website, they accept 422 students for 3 campuses.

Oh dang, wonder what class size is? Does anyone have word if they added more slots for January 2021? Since they pushed back the cohort due to Covid?

I am hoping we will know next week. I’m nervous ?

I believe it is 48 students per cohort.

Hi everyone! I thought I would join this thread as I am anxiously waiting to hear back decisions as well. Yesterday I reached out to the Sacramento admissions counselor and she said we should still be on track to hearing back by mid July?

I was accepted into the "ABSN Summer 2020 - San Mateo" cohort that was moved to Fall's start date this November. I, however, am "withdrawing" since I will be choosing another program. Best of luck to everyone!

@IJUSTGOTHERE CONGRATS on your acceptances! When did you hear back about your acceptance into the Samuel Merritt ABSN program? Was it today?

Because I was part of the "ABSN June 2020 - San Mateo" that was moved to "ABSN FALL 2020 - San Mate" cohort, I was told back in March. Overall, I heard back three months after I submitted my initial application.

So you originally applied to Summer 2020 start date? I have been waiting since Feb -.-

Is it mid-July yet...

Based on the last few posts, there may be less slots for the Fall applicants than normal?

This wait is killer...I need to know if I need to start packing for an out of town program.

I know rite...I have not deposit for out of town program ?
