Hi everyone! Just wanted to get the conversation started for those who applied for the ABSN Fall 2019 cohort. I applied for the Sacramento location but would love to connect with all who applied in general! Good luck everyone!

I thought that seemed rather low in comparison to what their website states (ie 50 minutes for grammar, 50 for vocab, 50 for math, etc.). Is that approximately the time you were given when you took yours?
Did you choose the right version? I think it was the A2 one is the correct one(I remember there were options) . If you did then it automatically enrolls you in the right tests I believe like @MamaKat916 said. You should call the testing center to make sure bc I also remember 4+ hrs!
Argh! So nervous! Best of luck everyone!!!
@Heather95 examity does not have a time limit. It says it does but you can take as long as you want. The proctors are based in India and have no idea what the Hesi is. They will read a sheet of the rules, have you walk around the room with your lap top to make sure you aren't cheating. It was nice to be able take it in my dining room. I took it twice with them. No issues other then the company seems really disorganized. Let me know if you have any other questions.

So the nail biting begins once more lol
I was looking at 2017 and Sac didnt hear until the middle of June. San Mateo was a 2 week trickle of notifications.
In 2017, I seems like that Sac cohort had a delayed application deadline of May 1 with some question as to whether there would be a Sacramento cohort. I've told myself we probably won't hear until next week in an attempt to help keep myself sane about the whole thing.

That makes sense then, I was just looking at the dates on the messages
I'm in the same boat as you now that its past 8.

I haven’t heard anything either. @theflipside I think the reason that year had a slow roll out was because that was the year that Sacramento added a Fall cohort. They were down to the wire on learning if they could admit students. They had people submit applications with the caveat that they would roll them over for Spring cohort if the BRN didn’t approve the Fall cohort. I think they probably waited to give notice to both cohorts because some people most likely put Sac and San Mateo on their applications as 1st/2nd choices (or vice versa). I’m just guessing here, but I do remember the admissions counselor saying that the Sac Fall cohort idea was so new, they actually had to extend the application deadline one month to ensure they had enough applicants to fill the cohort if it was approved. So applications that time were accepted through May 1. If you look at any other year on the allnurses threads, you’ll see that the admission, rejection, and waitlist notifications are all sent out within a few days of each other. I think that one cohort may be the exception to the rule?

I live in Napa and will be applying for the Sacramento campus as well. It says breaks are allowed but the proctor will pause the test. I may give Samuel Merritt a call to confirm the time limit since that is my main concern.
