  1. I've heard when I've called in that they said up to a week before school starts which is INSANE!
  2. This might be a stupid questions, but how did you guys know there's a checklist on the SMUPulse page? I don't think I know any checklist besides the admitted portal... Thanks!
  3. In my experience you have to have already requested the letter from your submitter before the application is due. You can not go back and change the contact info or anything of your submitter after the deadline. So as long as you requested a letter from your submitter and send that out before the application, you should be fine! They understand that that is usually out of your control. Mine has submitted up to 2 weeks - a month after the due date!
  4. @Brett Zorich can you link the fb group to the San Mateo cohort please!? ?
  5. Did you choose the right version? I think it was the A2 one is the correct one(I remember there were options) . If you did then it automatically enrolls you in the right tests I believe like @MamaKat916 said. You should call the testing center to make sure bc I also remember 4+ hrs! Argh! So nervous! Best of luck everyone!!!
  6. I agree with @MamaKat916, I think you'll still have a good chance especially since you'll be done with them all at the same time. I had both Pharm and Pathophysio in progress and is waitlisted in a good position for the summer ABSN... I'm still waiting to hear back for both that and this!
  7. Hey @MamaKat916, my bachelors was in Microbiology (helped take care of that prereq lol), but I've been working in medical research the past 5 years. I love it, but wanted to interact and help patients more directly instead of being behind the scenes. I know that I work well with people and thought nursing is a better fit for my personality instead of going to grad school and getting a PhD! Best of luck to everyone!
  8. @Drea143 You shouldn't have to worry about Micro ending in May. I had 2 classes in progress for the ABSN Summer cohort (which will end at the same time as yours), and I still got a decent spot on the waitlist! Unfortunately, I'm still waiting to hear back for that one....?
  9. I think that them not mentioning a GPA requirement beside the last 60/90 units is them telling it's not as weighted in their decision. Other school make it known that that isn't the case. Im sure if they were splitting hairs maybe, but from what I hear they do really like improvement if you've applied before, as well as experience in the healthcare field. I went to one of the info sessions and what I remember is that if they had a LOR from a nurse it would be better than from a doctor! Hope that helps!
  10. I agree with MamaKat916! I think I received my email before all of my LOR got there.... It didn't seem to follow any pattern at all, which is a little frustrating for us! haha Best of luck to everyone!
  11. @GParadise @Heaven27 Did you also have any kind of due dates for your decision? Just wondering when to expect any further movement if any!
  12. @juliah426 thank you so much for the update! That helps sooooo much! Congrats on your offer!!!!
  13. I recently reached out to one of the students from the last cohort wondering the same thing. She said that she found out A MONTH before school started, and she was waitlist number 14....(for FNP) Of course, we have to keep in mind that it's going to be different from cohort to cohort ... but I hope this year is the same as last..... haha
  14. @ganymede12 and @positivevibesonly, I was just wondering how you guys got on 2 waitlists for the different cohorts? Was there an option besides the ranking on the NursingCAS application?
