2020 Spring SMU ABSN program
I believe we do need the physical exam. When I submitted my immunizations, they replied with a message saying that the ABSN program did require the physical. ? I'm not sure about the color-vision exam, but I did it just in case.

Samuel Merritt ABSN Fall 2019
CONGRATS to all those accepted and waitlisted! It is such an accomplishment. I will be applying for the Spring 2020 cycle. I took the HESI yesterday through Examity and I was wondering if anybody could explain the scoring process? How soon should I see the results through Evolve; or will I receive an e-mail? Thanks in advance!

Samuel Merritt ABSN Fall 2019
Thank you for your response! I did register with the Examity proctored session but it says a time limit of 120 minutes for the Samuel Merritt admissions test. I thought that seemed rather low in comparison to what their website states (ie 50 minutes for grammar, 50 for vocab, 50 for math, etc.). Is that approximately the time you were given when you took yours?

Samuel Merritt ABSN Fall 2019
Hi all! I was wondering if anyone would be willing to clarify up the HESI requirements for a future applicant. I was looking at the Samuel Merritt website and it leads to a webpage where you can register for a proctored exam at any location via Examity or the distance examination at a specific location. Do they both allow the same time and test the same subjects? Would love to have feedback from anybody. Thank you and good luck to all applying this cycle ☺️
