Well yeah, I suppose your right. Any job that will hire you and give you some experience is better than no job.

Im in California. I went thru 14 month program, took my boards 45 days later, and passed. Had my license for 3 months before I started my job hunt. Took me 6 months and about 30 applications 6 interviews, to get a job working for a school district. I make 23.50/hr BUT schools only pay once a month, and alot of things taken out of check. But summer-holidays-and even a Ski week, off work is worth my M-F 8am-4pm shift. Life is good = )

@baygrl11.. What type of work setting do you work in? Home health? LTC? Etc.
I'm going to be starting an LVN program soon. I live in Southern California & I'm looking forward to making something around this amount in the future. :)

I'm a salary employee for a hospice in OKC. I gross 1800 every two weeks. I do get supplemental pay if I go over 22 visits in a week or take any on call.

I am in NYC, work at an allergy clinic and make $22/hour. Most of my old classmates make more than me though, usually $24~$28. Hopefully I will fetch a job like that soon, although I am thankful for the one I have.
Im excited about the pay.. at least I know the hard work in school eventually pay off..
I'm suprised at the amount of people willing to share there salary
