Oct 25, 201411 yr Experts I worked as an LVN for 4 years in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. My starting rate of pay was $18.50 hourly in 2006, and my final pay rate in 2010 was $27.04 per hour.
Oct 25, 201411 yr Author Ok.. I was thinking about moving to Dallas, Tx or Atlanta. California to.. Louisiana you make from 18-24 dollars but I'm ready to get out of here.
Oct 25, 201411 yr What is the starting salary for an LPN in south west Florida? Looking to relocate once I'm done school next year.
Oct 25, 201411 yr Northern Ohio/$15 in AL, but I hear you can make 16-18 in NH's. What sucks is my pay hasn't changed in over 5 years.
Oct 26, 201411 yr I'm outside Atlanta, clinic setting with 6 years experience and not quite $18/hour. I really wouldn't recommend Atlanta right now because the job market is horrible. I was lucky enough to be rehired at a previous employer because someone left but it was a year before that happened. I did temporary work at a large healthcare facility for $13/hour with no benefits and a horrible commute
Oct 26, 201411 yr StephV....S W Florida..15-18/ hr w. shift diff in a hosp. If ur lucky. As a new grad ... Its way low!!! Psych is 16/hr. days. Get IV cert. And PALS or ACLS to make yourself more marketable and valuable. You will get a buck or two more per hour. IT IS EXPENSIVE to live.. esp if u want to buy a place of your own. HOPE this helps.
Oct 29, 201411 yr Experts 15 seams kind of low.Be mindful that you might need to accept the $15/hour job to get a foot in the door for some experience. The nursing employment markets in many cities are saturated with far too many new grad nurses. This especially rings true in metropolitan areas that pay competitive wages such as California's Bay Area, NYC, Philly, Chicago, and Dallas.
