Hi everyone- I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have become accustomed to living on the edge of our seats, who would like some moral support, and who applied/ will apply for Sac States BSN program for Spring 2022. Anyone know the point cutoff for the last class? Did they end up taking 80 students? How many points do you have?

The cut-off was higher than ever last semester at 73. I'm nervous it will only stay that high moving forward and a 72 won't cut it.
The last cutoff was 72 I heard. Does anyone know where to find this on their website?
Sooo after I applied with 69 I retook the TEAS and got my second language approved (I didn’t know it qualified!) and now have 78! So excited!!

I spoke with ----------------------------- over the phone and she told me the last person who got accepted as an alternate for fall 2021 actually had 71 points!
I’m hoping now that other programs are opening back up + sac state offering 80 spots will make the applicant pool less competitive. Fingers crossed!

I hope so!! That makes me feel better knowing that someone with 71 points got in! Their program is so competitive. It was a huge increase in the cutoff points as soon as Covid hit. Before that, the cutoff was 67/68. I hope as well that with more schools opening back up it will help! ????

I applied with 71 points and was 42 on the waitlist and didn’t get in. I want to say they got to about 24 on the waitlist. The original cut off was 72 points before they pulled from alternates.

I know it’s 2 years but I think you work through the Summer. I know East Bay is 2 1/2 years but you have Summer off, so it would make sense Sac State is 2 years due to Summer classes.

In the FAQ for second bachelors, it says this.
QuoteDo you offer a continuous Accelerated Second Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASBSN) or Entry Level Master’s (ELM) track for post-baccalaureate students? No. Post-baccalaureate candidates are encouraged to apply to our four-semester Traditional BSN program (Winter and Summer intersessions off).
It sounds like summers are off, unless you need to finish any co-requisites.

Hi! I saw you got into the Fall 2021 cohort! Do you mind sharing what your schedule is like? How many days per week do you have class? I’m praying I get into the Spring 2022 cohort. I’d like to figure out if it will be possible for me to work even 1 weekday, or if I’ll have class/clinicals m-f.
