Hi everyone- I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have become accustomed to living on the edge of our seats, who would like some moral support, and who applied/ will apply for Sac States BSN program for Spring 2022. Anyone know the point cutoff for the last class? Did they end up taking 80 students? How many points do you have?
Just now, EricaLS said:Yea, I know what you mean. I got a 79% on English the first time I took it and 100% on my retake. Go figure. Reading stayed exactly the same while Math increased & Science decreased. But, I'll still take it!
That’s great you got 100! I got 100 on the math and 98 on the science. My reading score increased and my English score decreased by a lot! I kinda wish they didn’t put the English section last.

It’s actually funny cause I took the TEAS twice and got the same test ? so even tho my reading and English scores went down, I scored higher in math and science which bumped up my overall score. I hope to never take the TEAS again LOL
Yes I feel having the English section is archaic. Honestly, if you pass the Reading, Science and Math you obviously have the education to coherently string a sentence together. But, studied English and improved my score. I got 89 on the reading, 96 on the math and 90 on the science which was interesting as I got 96 on science first time around.
Oh man it's a crap shoot LOL

I agree, it would be nice if they got rid of that section altogether! I got a 94 reading, 98 science, 100 math, then fell flat on my face on the english. Maybe it’s cus my eyes were burning at that point, LOL. I work with a bunch of nurses who don’t even know what the TEAS is because it wasn’t even required in the past. I took a study course to prepare and my professor said it’s just a test to weed more people out since schools are so impacted.
Damn you killed the other sections! Nice work! I agree either English or Reading are brutal at the end - so much reading and analyzing. Yes, I'd agree with the weeding out process - just have to jump through the hoops and show commitment. Just like doing the CNA program for work experience points.
