Sacramento State (CSUS) Fall 2014 Applicants

Hi All!

I'm currently applying for Sac state nursing fall 2014 as a transfer student. I'll have approximately 72 pts by the time of application. I cant wait for april/may to hear the results!

Interested in hearing about your experiences!

Hi everyone! I also applied for fall 2014 and I should be getting 78 points total. I have a 3.769 gpa, 92% teas score, and 9 points for optional criteria. I am also pretty nervous because I'm worried that's not enough... Well, good luck to everyone else who applied. I will be coming back here pretty often to see what's new :)

Oh and I'm a transfer student and I have been admitted to the university.

Question: Are you guys looking to do on-campus housing? Or off-campus? I've been looking at the housing application and it seems that I have to make a deposit to sign up. It wouldn't be too bad but when I think about having to make a deposit for every CSU that I applied to :(

Sorry I wouldn't know because I'll be living off campus if I get in!

It sounds like most people live off campus, and that's my plan if I get in. University housing is so expensive :/

Does anyone know the exact date that program admissions come out?

also, anyone in the last home stretch of the prereqs? I'm currently taking Anatomy and Physiology Pt. II in the Los Rios district.

Can barely focus because i'm so anxious!!! :nailbiting:

The website says to check back mid March for an update with their progress processing Fall applications, so hopefully we'll have an idea soon about when we'll find out.

I'm finishing up some prereqs too: organic chemistry and my oral communication course. Also taking lifespan online.

I'm also finishing up my last prereq: O chem. So glad this grade won't be included in the gpa because this class is kinda tough! I can't focus as well :/

What do you guys think the point cut off will be this semester? Last semester was 69 and it seems like it goes up about 3 points every semester..

Hard to tell what the point cut off is. It gets more and more competitive each year!
